CalmPaw has no accounts and no servers, so there is no account to close and no request to file. Everything you have logged is on your iPhone, and you can erase it yourself, immediately, without asking anyone.
Delete individual items
Inside the app, you can delete or archive any single dog profile, walk, saved route, encounter, medication, or dose log. Open the item and use the delete option.
Delete everything
CalmPaw → Settings → Delete all CalmPaw data
You'll be asked to confirm. This permanently removes:
- All dog profiles and photos
- All walks, routes, GPS data, encounters, and notes
- All medications and dose logs
- All generated insights
- Any pending medication reminders
- Your onboarding and tracking preferences
The app returns to its first-launch state.
Delete the app
Removing CalmPaw from your iPhone deletes its entire storage area — the journal database and any local diagnostic file — in one step.
Please read this before you delete
Deletion is permanent, and we cannot undo it. We never had a copy of your data, so there is no backup on our side to restore from. If you want to keep any of it, export first: CalmPaw → Settings → Export produces a CSV or JSON file, free of charge.
Two things deletion does not reach
Device backups. If you have iCloud Backup or an encrypted computer backup turned on, an older backup may still contain CalmPaw data from before the deletion. Those backups belong to Apple's backup system, not to us. Manage or delete them in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage → Backups, or in Finder on a Mac.
Files you already shared. An export, PDF report, or encrypted household handoff file that you already sent to someone lives on their device now. We have no ability to recall or revoke it. If a household handoff file is involved, remember that it contains full GPS routes — ask the recipient to delete it directly.
Your subscription is separate
Deleting your data does not cancel a CalmPaw Plus subscription. Purchase records are held by Apple and tied to your Apple Account, not to anything we store.
To cancel: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → CalmPaw.
Making a formal request
You don't need to, since the tools above are faster and more complete than anything we could do. But if you want written confirmation of what we hold about you, or you need a record for a legal or regulatory purpose, email support@calmedpaws.app and we'll respond within 30 days.
Our answer will be that we hold no personal information about you, because CalmPaw was built so that we can't.
